Shingeki No Kyojin/Attack On Titans: Definitely the next big thing!!

Shingeki No Kyojin

Shingeki No Kyojin or Attack on Titans is a japanese manga written by the japanese manga artist Hajime Iseyama. Words aren’t enough to describe how brilliant this story about a world where people live in constant fear of titans is. It definitely is one of my favourites. This is one of the best thriller anime shows out there. There isn’t a single element about this show that isn’t great. The music, the animation, the fight scenes, the plot, the characters and everything else is top notch. One simply cannot afford to miss such a masterpiece of a show. Here we will have a look at the major features this show offers and everything else.

Plot

The plot for Attack on Titans/Shingeki no Kyojin is set in a world where only a portion of humanity remains and lives in constant fear of ‘kyojins’ or titans. Titans are huge creatures that feed on humans for amusement. There are different nature to individual titans as well. Our protagonist, Eren Yeager is a young man who’s tired of living a life in eternal fear of titans. He wants to be free and wishes to demolish each and every titan out there so humans can finally break free of a life similar to that of cattle and live freely. Survey corps is a group of soldiers who’ve dedicated themselves completely towards humanity. These men have taken on their shoulders the responsibility of fighting titans and collecting info about them for the same of humanity. Our protagonist Eren Yeager as a child has always dreamt of becoming one of the survey corps. There’s a tonne more to talk about the plot of Shingeki no Kyojin but it’s a bit difficult to continue without giving spoilers. There are a lot of things about Shingeki no Kyojin that cannot be discussed without the risks of spoilers and these things obviously contain numerous reasons for not skipping this show other than those mentioned above. The plot is thrilling as hell. This show is definitely guaranteed to give tonnes of goosebumps.

Characters of Shingeki No Kyojin

How well the fans/watchers are able to relate with the characters of a show is an important thing that gets that show going. Many shounen anime have characters that have become people’s favourite over the course of years. Similarly, Shingeki no Kyojin has some interesting characters that have a lot of depth to them. Our protagonist is a young man named Eren Yeager. He is quite ambitious and brave. He dreams of the day when humanity will break free of the fear of titans. He has a friend names Armin Arlert who wishes to see the ‘ocean’ someday. Armin is an intelligent kid. Mikasa Ackerman is also a friend of them and dotes on Eren too much. This trio stays together most of the time. Erwin Smith is the captain of Survey Corps and definitely is one of the best characters of this show. He’s the ideal example of how a leader should be and is far too great of a tactician. Levi Ackerman is the best ‘titan slayer’ in the series and is badass as heck. These are some of the characters of this show that make up as one more reason to watch this show.

Review

This show simply cannot be missed at any cost. This show has a total of 4 installments till now.

It has 3 seasons and the 3rd season has 2 parts.

The last installment was the 2nd part of the third season that aired in 2019. The fourth season is rumoured to air in fall 2020. The 2nd part of the third season took the world by storm and greatly skyrocketed this show’s the popularity. It was even rated #1 at MAL (MyAnimeList) and it temporarily replace the g.o.a.t FMAB (Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood) from the top spot. This show has already become the next big thing the world has been talking about in the last few years. The animation easily is the best thing about the show. It has simply the best animation of all the shows that I know. God tier animation, epic soundtracks, breathtaking scenes and every other element, this show packs it all. One can’t at all afford skipping on this masterpiece. The show definitely has a lot more than this review has to say but we’re refraining from spoiling the show for those who haven’t watched it yet. There’s nothing to wait for, go ahead nd watch it asap guys!
