Litecoin Foundation will officially unveil Cryptocurrency Debit Card

Bibox Exchange, Ternio, and Litecoin Foundation are going to combine their forces to introduce a breakthrough in the cryptocurrency market. Together, the three firms are going to release a physical real-time cryptocurrency debit card. According to a blog post of the 18th June, the release of the physical debit card came into being.

According to the post, the companies are going to roll out the Litecoin cryptocurrency debit card; namely “BlockCard.” Bibox is a popular cryptocurrency exchange platform that has made a name for itself in a few years. On the other hand, Ternio is a white-label tech that aids customers with real-world cryptocurrency and blockchain solutions.

What is BlockCard?

With BlockCard, the users will be able to easily spend their cryptocurrency funds both in physical and online marketplaces. By the looks of it, the customers can store the native tokens from Ternio&Bibox token: BIX. Moreover, the customers will also find the BlockCard, cryptocurrency debit card to store Litecoin tokens as well.

The role of Bibox Exchange and Ternio in facilitating the debit card

Additionally, Bibox Exchange is going to helm the role of custodian of the funds that users store in BlockCard. Furthermore, Bibox Exchange will also leverage more than $200 million worth cryptocurrency and get it into trading purposes.

The white-label tech company Ternio is all set to provide a complete blockchain and cryptocurrency platform by recording the exchanges. According to the sources, Bibox Exchange and Litecoin Foundation have a very crucial role in making the cryptocurrency debit card credible. Both Litecoin Foundation, along with Bibox Exchange is all set to integrate the cryptocurrency debit card, BlockCard directly into LoafWallet and Bibox Exchange.

On the other hand, LoafWallet is the official cryptocurrency wallet for Litecoin.

Litecoin wants people to spend cryptocurrency in everyday life

One of the partners said that the partnership has been fascinating for them. Litecoin Foundation, from the very beginning, had the desire of creating more use cases for everyday spending of the cryptocurrency.

Litecoin leverages the BlockCard on Ternio’s blockchain platform with the exchange engine of Bibox. Additionally, the Litecoin cryptocurrency users will gain access to spend the LTC token with significant merchants across the globe.

The saga of Cryptocurrency debit cards

The non-profit cryptocurrency organization Litecoin Foundation becomes one of the numerous key players who have come out with debit cards. In recent time, Coinbase, the famous American cryptocurrency exchange platform, rolled out Visa Debit Card in six major countries across Europe. According to Coinbase, the users are going to be able to spend the cryptocurrencies which they store on the card. Back in 2019 March, VISA came up with a job opening for an expert in blockchain and cryptocurrency. The firm is on the verge of finding someone with expertise in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain. Moreover, VISA said they would put the expert in blockchain and cryptocurrency as Technical Product Manager of the VISA Fintech. And, the job description suggests that the person should have in-depth knowledge about the cryptocurrency industry and blockchain’s ledger tech.
