Although the tech behind blockchain is fascinating to many, for others, crypto offers a chance to make a lot of money in a short period of time. And by using memes it becomes more fun. So which meme coin is likely to be the next to 1000x and why?
Ponke and Its TikTok Strategy
Ponke is a Solana meme coin with a difference. The mascot is inspired by Matt Furie’s PEPE, but is a monkey, to playfully allude to the degens who like to ‘Ape’ into coins, also the inspiration for the once super valuable Bored Ape Club NFTs.
Ponke built its following on TikTok and Instagram. Using TikTok was novel and captured many new followers who were not exposed to other projects.
The memes and videos are on point and funny, and the number of TikTok followers is far higher than the number of holders, which suggests that the cult following and appreciation of the humor of Ponke goes beyond crypto audiences.
Ponke is now worth $0.168, up 1478% from its all-time low, down 79% from its all-time high.
If Ponke can attract more of its massive TikTok fan base to the project, then it could go up substantially, but the question remains, if they haven’t bought already, what, if anything, will change their minds?
PEPU’s (Pepe Unchained) Unique Features
Pepe Unchained is another meme coin to draw upon an internet meme legend. And its also another example of a coin that aims to mix DeFi and MemeFi.
PEPU’s unique features include very high staking rewards currently at 133% per year, a fast Layer 2 blockchain that allows you to bridge from Ethereum, and a DEX, with future ecosystem developments to come.
Pepe Unchained started in presale, at $0.008965 a coin. The presale began in June and ended in December, with PEPU rising in price throughout and eventually launching and mooning from $0.0169 up to $0.06, before crashing back down again as early investors took profits.
However, the coin is now recovering and has risen above the resistance level and is trading at $0.018 with a potential bullish breakout on the way. With a market cap of $120 million, a 1000x is certainly possible with PEPU, but the best chance would have been to get in on the presale.
Is Presale the Best Time to Buy a Meme Coin Like CUTO?
Cutoshi is another interesting meme coin, still in presale. Like Ponke and PEPU, it relies on more than just memes.
The biggest meme coin gains come from projects that figure out how to keep people engaged long after the first wave of excitement fades. And Cutoshi reckons they have that figured out.
Ponke built a massive following on TikTok, but most of those followers haven’t bought in yet. PEPU tried to mix DeFi and MemeFi, but after an initial pump, it struggled to hold its gains. Cutoshi has been paying attention. The team is using TikTok and other platforms to grow awareness and gain fans, while making sure the project has real utility. That means not just pushing memes, but giving people a reason to stay.
Cutoshi is building a DEX that makes trading easier, cheaper, and private. It’s also working on a DeFi learning academy so holders actually know how to use the tools in the space. Unlike meme coins that have already achieved a 1000x or more, CUTO is still in presale at $0.031, with a low market cap that leaves plenty of room for upside.
Ponke and PEPU have already had their big moments and though they remain relatively popular, a further 1000x could be a challenge. Cutoshi hasn’t had its moment yet, but everything is lining up for it to be one of the meme coins that get attention for its innovation while also holding its value, making a 1000x well within the realms of possibility.
