Mark Zuckerberg shares his concerns about Apple being Meta’s biggest competitor in the Metaverse

Mark Zuckerberg has clearly stated that Apple and Meta (Facebook) might be in some deep competition for Metaverse. The founder of Meta has informed his employees that Meta is about to secure its position in the Metaverse against Apple by being a cheaper alternative for users.

In a meeting with his co-workers, Zuckerberg discussed all the information regarding the competition between Meta and Apple. And Mark also announced that they would be releasing an AR (Augmented Reality) headset by the end of this year.

Furthermore, Mark Zuckerberg said that Apple and Meta will be competing on a deeper and philosophical level to decide the direction of the internet and how the upcoming revolution with the introduction of Web 3.0 will be for their users.

More insight into Meta’s plan to enter the Metaverse

Mark is entirely relying on his big-time venture to enter the Metaverse. He plans to invest no less than $10 billion to modify the internet and enhance users’ experience in the upcoming years.

The Metaverse Standard Forum is formed by the association of more than 37 multinational tech giants, including Sony, Microsoft, Meta, and Epic Games. The main aim of this forum is to ensure interoperability and cooperation among the organizations to establish the decentralized Metaverse.

Apple is not yet included in the Metaverse Forum, and Zuckerberg is not sure whether the operations to be conducted here will be close-ended or open-ended. The CEO of Meta has also warned his employees to gear up for an intense situation that might result from the war between the two tech giants.
