Google Rumored to Engage with XRP Ledger
The crypto community is abuzz with speculation about a possible involvement between Google and the XRP Ledger. Edo Farina, CEO of Alpha Lions Academy and Head of Social Adoption at XRP Healthcare, shared a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) that showed data of computers running nodes on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and their corresponding IP addresses.

Among the listed addresses, one IP was said to be hosted by tech giant Google, with Google LLC also listed as the Internet Service Provider (ISP). Based on this data, Farina concluded that Google was running XRPL nodes, similar to Microsoft who operates an XRPL validator node via its Azure Blockchain as a Service (BaaS).
This news caused excitement in the XRP community as many members are hopeful that Google’s involvement with XRPL would enhance the position of XRP in the crypto market. However, there were also mixed reactions within the community, with some members expressing doubts and seeking clarification on the information presented in the screenshot.
A prominent XRPL Ambassador named Daniel responded to Farina’s post, explaining that the IP associated with Google was actually a Google Cloud Platform IP address. He suggested that someone may be running Ripple on Google Cloud’s infrastructure, rather than Google itself running XRPL nodes.
XRPL Layer-2 Platform Updates
Meanwhile, Evernode, a layer 2 smart contract solution built on the XRP Ledger, made an announcement regarding its upcoming launch. The platform shared an update on its website, stating that the targeted release date is set for November 27th.

In addition, Evernode revealed plans for an airdrop to XRP investors who hold a substantial number of Evers. Approximately 5,160,960 Evers will be distributed to XRP holders who have at least 50,000 XRP tokens in their Xahau wallets on XRPL.
The platform also made some adjustments to the beta tester airdrop, including a 500 Evers fee for registration and providing beta hosts with a full gift during the launch.
As the crypto community eagerly awaits Google’s response to the rumors surrounding its involvement with XRPL, the news of Evernode’s upcoming launch continues to generate excitement among XRP holders.
