XRP Price Prediction: XRP Faces Slow Climb, Analysts Say A More Agile Payment Protocol Is Gaining Ground

Ripple’s XRP is back in the news and the next few weeks could settle whether the token finally breaks out or keeps inching higher at a crawl. While long-time holders wait, a newer payment token, Remittix, is quietly gathering speed and may prove a faster mover before summer ends.

Senate Spotlight Puts XRP in Focus

Brad Garlinghouse says testifying in Washington is an “honor,” and he plans to push lawmakers toward clear crypto rules. The hearing could help lawmakers see how Ripple’s tech moves money faster than old bank wires. If senators walk away impressed, XRP demand might go up.

However,  the SEC lawsuit first filed in 2020 is still there. Appeals are pending and both sides could drag the case out. While that court battle exists, some hedge funds sit on the sidelines, unwilling to hold XRP in size.

Bold $1,000 Call Meets Short-Squeeze Risk

Crypto analyst BarriC made jaws drop by claiming XRP could reach $1,000 once banks publicly confirm they use it for cross-border payments. His logic is simple: bank demand would crush the current supply, forcing a giant re-price upward. While critics call that number wild, it shows how talk of real-world adoption continues to fuel hope.

For now, the chart looks stuck. Analyst STEPH IS CRYPTO points to a big wall of short trades sitting above $2.35. If XRP nudges higher, shorts could feel pain and rush to buy back coins, causing a squeeze. That event might pop price to the next resistance near $2.65.

Remittix Quietly Builds Speed

While XRP tackles courts and Congress, Remittix is moving at street level. The project has raised $15.9 million by selling 548 million RTX tokens at $0.0811 each and is racing toward an $18 million soft cap. July marks the launch of the RTX Wallet, which lets users swap tokens into dozens of currencies in under ten seconds. A tiny slice of every transfer is burned forever, cutting supply day by day and nudging price upward as usage grows.

Two pilot payment routes, one in West Africa and another in Southeast Asia, plan to handle live money before summer ends. Early testers report near-bank exchange rates and smooth QR pay links anyone can use on a basic smartphone. If volumes ramp up, RTX could jump in value faster than XRP because its market cap is still tiny. Traders hunting big percentage gains are quietly loading bags before public numbers hit the news.

Final Thoughts: Which Payment Token Wins the Race?

XRP remains the bigger brand, with deep liquidity, a loyal community and the promise of official clarity if Congress moves forward. A Senate hearing this week could be the first of several steps that finally clear the fog. But even the most bullish analysts admit XRP climbs inch by inch, slowed by court dates, filings and regulatory hurdles that never end as quickly as holders wish.

Remittix plays a different game. If the wallet launch goes smoothly and pilot corridors catch on, RTX could post eye-catching gains well before XRP’s legal saga wraps up. For investors aiming at speed rather than size, keeping Remittix on the radar might be the smartest move this summer.
