About the Hackathon
Telos has intentions to welcome all the developers on the Ethereum blockchain to come with their best tools and apps to the Telos EVM, tEVM. In the statement released, it was revealed that the team has worked attentively to develop the tEVM from non-Ethereum Fork. This was done in order to dodge the negative aspects of all other existing EVMs.
We must emphasize that tEVM is incredibly fast, charges significantly low gas fees, and ensures that the decentralized applications can scale without any hindrance. The participation from the developers on the Ethereum blockchain is expected to be contributing to the users associated with Telos.
What Can You Build?
Be it the DeFi or DEX innovation, or any P-2-E fork/concept, this platform has opened doors for creation of a variety of dApps or Forks applications. You can build staking and lending contracts, innovative NFT Minting contracts, Ethereum name service fork, and MultiSig tools and vaults.

It was also revealed in the announcement that Telos has recently partnered with a dApp specializing in creating streamlined and highly organized hackathons, Taikai. They will also be launching a Mentor Support Team to ease the process of deployment.
