Today’s crypto market was losing money as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and other cryptocurrencies plunged. According to Coinmarketcap.com statistics at 8.50 a.m., the crypto market cap declined approximately 1.81 percent to $840.71 billion, while trading volume increased by 24.68 percent to $29.63 billion.
Stacks (STX) was the highest gainer today, up 8.38 percent to $0.3101. Osmosis (OSMO) was the biggest loser, trading at $0.9243 after losing 10.1% in the previous 24 hours to Monday morning.

Bitcoin: BTC lost 1.4% to $16,912.09. On December 11, BTC was very volatile, trading in a tight range of $17,200 to $16,900. However, BTC’s trading volume increased by a large margin. The lowest BTC price was $16,899.39. The trading volume of Bitcoin increased by 34.46 percent to $16,786,187,929.

Ethereum: As of Monday morning, the cost of one Ether has dropped by 1.96 percent to $1,246.07. On December 11, ETH was trading above its opening price. But around 1.55 a.m. on December 12, ETH’s price plunged, hitting the day’s low trading price all at once. At its low, ETH costs $1,243.79.
With this rise, ETH’s total trading volume reached $4,130,09,830, a 30.41 percent increase over the previous period.
