The requirement of creating the main storyline had forced the manga artist to make a few filler episodes. Even though the filler episodes are enjoyable to watch, but the base is not the storyline. Therefore, many fans never like these types of episodes.

Fillers are used to filling the gap of anime and manga in an exciting way that the user will like. Filler episodes help the manga artist to get time for appropriately creating the storyline.

If the viewers are skipping the filling as they don’t like them, it won’t affect the story, and they can continue from the same point once the insights were correctly done. Although if you want to experience a new view, then give some time to filler arc to see something new.

From the total number of the episodes, the percentage of filler is 40% in Naruto Shippuden.

• The episode 57 to 71 was based on the filler arc mixed with canon episodes. It includes Deprived of Eternal Slee, Loneliness, Contact of the enemies, teammates in the series, The Two Kings in the series along with the Jet black fire.
• Apart from this, there was darkness in life and the reviving souls; the death struggle was shown in episode 67.
• The full part that is filled with filler without any storyline was episode 72 that is based on the threat of life. Another chapter is 90, based on the determination of Shinobi. A full filler episode again without any storyline.
• After this, from episode 91 till 111 are filler mixed episodes. Hence, the fans were feeling bored after watching so many filler episodes continuously.
• Now, when it comes to episode 112, it was again based on full filler. The episode was showing the place where one can return quickly.
• After this, one can watch canon episodes from 113 to 126 that are following episode 127 and 128 as filler again.
• After this, one can see the episodes based on Wanderer, The Successor’s Wish, Heir to Darkness, The Forbidden Jutsu Released all based on filler and canon mixed.

After this also there are many episodes based on canon and filler mixed, fully canon, and fully filler episodes. Now, the questions are why so many filler episodes are there?

The only answer is it is giving some time to the developers to create the same enthusiastic episodes without any interruption.

Now, we could guess that the episodes created by the artists will be more exciting and based on the storyline of the series. The fan following of the series is vast, but the only things viewers don’t like are too many types of filler among the main storyline.

Artists are further trying to eliminate the number of fillers from the main storyline while creating the episodes.

It will be interesting to see how they are going to do the same. It will be more fun and thrilling to see the number of canon episodes.
